Tom and Katia have had much more than their fair share of family problems. They each have one criminal mastermind on their side of their family, one of which is Tom's identical twin, a fearless daughter and a son who can see auras, and Tom works in the CIA. The two met in college when Tom and Oliver, who are identical twins, were still living together. Oliver and Tom both fell deeply in love with Katia, but Katia was in love with Tom and not Oliver. This crushed Oliver, especially because Tom always seemed to get the girls and he felt like he would die without Katia.

While Oliver tries to be ok with his brother's girlfriend, a man from the Organization, Nickolai, comes to a bar where Oliver is while he is completely drunk. He tries to trick Oliver into believing that Tom has already slept with Katia, although he said he hadn't, and that Tom has been selfishly lying to him all along. Although Oliver doubts Nickolai's accusations, he is still on the edge of breaking. Then, Tom cracks a code that Oliver was unable to, although it isn't his department in the CIA, and when he shows it to his boss, he is given a promotion and Oliver is demoted.

Oliver flips out and, dangerous close to dropping into a fighting stance, leaves. He runs into Nickolai again and the two plot to get Katia together with Oliver. The plans backfire, however, and Katia gets engages to Tom anyway. When Tom and Katia get married, Oliver pretends that he is perfectly ok with everything, but then drugs Tom's drink while they are in his room alone. He takes Tom's clothes and wedding ring and sleeps with Katia. Tom wakes up while Oliver is in the shower and he and several CIA agents barge into Katia's room. While Katia starts crying hysterically, mortified as she realizes what happened, Oliver bursts out of the room, using extremely violent martial arts, and escapes from the hotel.

He comes back six years later when Gaia is six years old and trains her. Tom finds out and, although he is ready with CIA agents surrounding them, Oliver once again gets away from the setup Tom prepared. Then, six years after that, Oliver appears again at their house in the mountains. He tries to kill Tom, but ends up killing Katia instead when she comes in between the two of them to calm Oliver down, taking the bullet meant for Tom.
